We are chemists and accountants, program managers and data scientists, biologists and clinical strategists. We come to Fulcrum with diverse backgrounds and interests, but we are united by a common cause: We are champions for the patients we serve.

Chicheng loves traveling to experience nature and explore new cultures.

Billy is a hockey enthusiast – with season tickets, he never misses a Boston Bruins game!

Kelly has a love for adventure and is an avid hiker, biker and skier.
“I joined Fulcrum after studying congenital muscular dystrophy because of my love for muscle biology and passion to help patients with rare muscle disorders.”
An ardent patient advocate, Anthony has run several marathons with the Muscular Dystrophy Association’s endurance team – Team Momentum.
“What I enjoy most about my job is working with a multi-functional team of exceptional, passionate, laser-focused scientists.”
Jayashree is a master of Iaido, the ancient Japanese martial art of swordsmanship.
“It is extremely fulfilling to work at a company that is so focused on making a difference in patients’ lives.”
A trained medicinal chemist, Ivan is also a talented hiker and chef.
“I find it exciting to be part of a team whose singular mission is to bring transformative medicines to patients afflicted with rare diseases.”
Outside of work, Kingsley enjoys traveling and spending quality time with his family.
“We work hard at Fulcrum to create a culture that can tackle difficult diseases and create novel therapeutics. I look forward to seeing what we create.”
Alan is an aficionado of outdoor activities – from skiing to kayaking to relaxing on the beach with a good book.
“The Fulcrum team has the right combination of know-how, creativity and motivation, as well as scientific excellence and collaboration, to fuel our therapeutic programs.”
Hao and his family are fans of animal adventures and are frequent weekend visitors to the New England Aquarium and Franklin Park Zoo.

Elyse is a classically trained opera singer - you might catch her singing around the office.
“I enjoy the challenge of learning new areas of biology and working with my team to have a big impact in neuromuscular and erythroid-related disease fields.”
Pete’s hobbies include high-altitude weather ballooning – take a look at a recent launch

A natural problem solver, Mark loves to go adventure-seeking with his family.
“I joined the biology team at Fulcrum to apply my passion for exploring new ways to unravel the molecular mechanisms behind gene regulation to the development of transformative medicines.”
Alejandro is an avid foodie with deep knowledge of the food scenes of both Boston and New York.
“I believe that Fulcrum’s strategy of regulating disease-causing genes by using the most physiologically relevant cell models is the best approach for discovering new therapies for patients.”
When he’s not leading Fulcrum’s cell biology group, you can find John defending his title as the office’s reigning pingpong champion.
“I’m excited to be part of the Fulcrum family, all of whom are focused on making a difference in patients’ lives.”
Vivian is a dedicated fitness enthusiast – her favorite form of exercise is hiking.
“In my role, I am able to manage projects across many departments at Fulcrum. This allows me to be a part of so much of our work – including developing patient relationships.”
A multitalented multitasker, Nicole is also an enthusiastic hostess and enjoys cooking for family and friends.
“Within the wide breadth of committed, patient-focused experts at Fulcrum, I collaborate with interdisciplinary teams of scientists who specialize in gene regulation, cell biology, molecular sciences and translational medicine.”
Ayla takes full advantage of her bountiful New England neighborhood – find her visiting the latest exhibit at the Museum of Fine Arts or going on local hikes.
“I joined Fulcrum for many reasons, but a key driver was the patient-focused drug discovery strategy alongside the application of the latest research tools. Equally important are the experienced, motivated and friendly people here.”
A serious outdoorsman, David’s hobbies include mountain biking and competing in on- and off-road triathlons.
“I joined my mission-driven colleagues at Fulcrum because they are not daunted by the rigorous work required to develop potential therapies for diseases that have otherwise been overlooked for decades.”
Michelle is a renaissance woman when it comes to the outdoors – her favorite activities include running, biking and gardening with her family.
“I joined Fulcrum to work with a group of extremely smart individuals, combining their talents together towards one common goal: helping the patients.”
Julie loves working out and donuts– life’s all about balance.
“I joined Fulcrum for its patient-centric approach and to have the opportunity to work with a highly motivated and interdisciplinary team of scientists.”
When she’s not working, Anugraha enjoys running along the Charles River, Indian classical dance and ashtanga yoga..
“Fulcrum’s leadership team has a tremendous amount of experience, which becomes obvious in how we focus on the needs of patients and how we drive for an efficient day-to-day execution toward our goals.”
In his spare time, Steve enjoys growing his own vegetables and cooking as much food from scratch as possible.

One of Natalie’s favorite hobbies is going swimming when the weather allows.
